Born and raised on the beautiful Mendocino Coast, I am no stranger to this area. My skills as a networker enable me to provide an abundance of resources for my clients.
I was raised in an environment of hospitality and have learned to pay close attention to detail. I am very active in the community and my firsthand knowledge of the area helps me discover the perfect location and provide expert services for my clients’ special day.
Mendocino Weddings and Events has been in business for 22 years and comes with a great reputation. I have been fortunate enough to take over this well-respected business. I chose event planning for my profession because I enjoy assisting my clients as we develop their wedding or special event ideas together. I look forward to working with you to see your event beautifully unfold from beginning to end!
Carol Sanders
I have been working with Mendocino Weddings since the beginning of 2007. I am the office manager and the organizer and “schedule keeper” of the coordination team. Yes, even the coordinators need a coordinator!
I have lived in the Mendocino/Fort Bragg area since 1985. I have a strong background in organizing businesses, taking care of client contracts and arranging vendor appointments, site tours and BBQ’s. I am in charge of rental equipment orders and am also the coordinator for certain events.
Alicia Matsumoto
I'm in love with the happily ever after - from when I was six years old and planning my own princess birthday complete with horse and carriage to helping my princess bride bring her fairytale wedding to life. I'm honored and proud to be a part of that one big day where a girl's happily ever after dreams come true.
Armed with a major in Communication from the University of Southern California and a strong background in design, I began my career for one of the top wedding planners in Southern California. My passion and fresh eye for detail have aided me in producing weddings, social mixers, themed parties, and philanthropy events throughout Los Angeles. I am so excited to be back, lending my background and expertise, in the beautiful hometown where I was born and raised.
